To ensure Allianz’ internal and external customer expectations are exceeded and business objectives are met by assisting a team of people through effective management and relationship techniques, coordination of activities, maintenance of AAL standards, continuous improvement of business processes, adherence to all compliance/risk policies, legal and regulatory obligations, manage change by working closely with project teams, owning and managing risks incidents, conducting internal reviews as part of the IDR Process and training. To contribute to the achievement of the Allianz targets and ensure positive business outcomes by contributing to the development and implementation of strategic initiatives. Managing the Claims Technical Support team, ensuring engagement from team members and contributing to a positive team culture.

**You'll be responsible for**:

- Strategic Technical Management
- Coordination of Head Office Reporting & distribution
- Manage Document Compliance Sign Off Tasks for the National Liability Team
- Complete Internal Dispute Resolution for Liability Claims, National (IDR and Broker Triage programs)
- External Dispute Resolution for Liability Claims, National (eg AFCA)
- Identify trends/areas where training or procedure updates are required, implement same with input from team managers and monitor to ensure compliance
- Liability Unit contact for all Authority & Licence compliance
- Organise and facilitate annual compliance and BAU training for the Liability Claims Unit, including internal and external run sessions
- Supporting Loss Adjuster activities to monitor performance
- Liaison with National Investigations Unit and Investigation referrals to monitor performance
- Ensure compliance with RG 271, CAAFS, GICoP and CAAFS
- Own incidents and work with internal stakeholders to progress incidents to closure
- Cooperate and actively participate in internal audit and control testing. Owning and leading any actions following such internal audits and control testing to ensure actions are completed by the due dates.
- Actively participate and support adherence to various global frameworks.
- Change management: working with project teams to provide input, design solutions, implement and embed changes in team.

**Important to your success**:

- Relevant tertiary and/or industry qualifications
- 2+ years previous experience in Insurance, Legal and/or Claims environment
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent customer service abilities and solid verbal communication skills
- Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work with different stakeholders
- Problem solving
- Time management and being able to prioritise
- Good presentation skills
