**Your new company**

Due to continuous growth, the complexity and volume of procurement and contract management activities have significantly increased. To manage these critical functions effectively, ensure compliance with legislative requirements, streamline procurement processes, and maintain high standards of service, this fantastic CBD-based organisation is looking for more than one Procurement Officer.

**Your new role**

You will provide specialist procurement and contract management advice to business areas, ensuring adherence to legislative requirements. Their role is pivotal in supporting the expanding scope and complexity of the procurement and contract management activities.
- Provide expert advice on procurement strategies and contract management.
- Ensure procurement activities align with organisational goals and comply with relevant legislation and rules.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers.
- Manage contract negotiations and oversee supplier performance.
- Identify and implement opportunities to streamline procurement processes.
- Enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of procurement operations.
- Ensure all procurement activities adhere to legal and regulatory requirements.
- Proactively manage and mitigate procurement-related risks.
- Collaborate with various internal stakeholders to understand and support their procurement needs.
- Act as a liaison between the procurement department and other business areas.
- Work with stakeholders to deliver efficient services.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Baseline security clearance and citizenship IS A MUST
- Strong negotiation and communication abilities.
- Analytical and strategic thinking skills.
- Proficiency in procurement software and systems.
- Excellent organisational skills.
