Power BI Support Officer

A large government agency is seeking a
**Power BI Support Officer** for a
**12 month contract**. The Power BI Support Officer will be focused on
**contributing to the day-to-day administration of Power BI services**.
**Key Responsbilities**:
- Support Power BI end users.
- Communicate release and update of features to end users and other service stakeholders.
- Document processes, procedures, and knowledge articles related to the Power BI service.
- Manage user permission and grant access in accordance with business rules.
- Diagnose, triage, and resolve Power BI related issues.
- Actively participate in the maintenance and management of Power BI platform tenancies and environments.
- Liaise with technical areas and project teams to collaboratively deliver outcomes.
**Essential Requirements**:
- Technical knowledge and experience in the administration and development of Power BI Services in an enterprise environment.
- Demonstrated experience in leveraging Power BI to develop data visualisation and reporting solutions, including design, and support of SQL-based data integrations/transformations.
- Demonstrated experience or aptitude necessary to manage workspaces, datasets, and gateway connections on Power BI.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills suitable to anticipate and resolve incidents and problems related to Power BI solutions and data sources.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
**Highly Desired**:
- Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology or a related field.
- Possessing an Infrastructure Technology Information Library (ITIL) Foundation Certificate or experience working in an ITIL environment.
- Experience working in a service desk or end-user support role.
