Large Federal Government department are seeking APS6 Travel Supervisor to lead small team

**Your new company**
Large Federal Government Department is looking for a APS6 Domestic Travel Supervisor on a S26 Transfer

**Your new role**
This role is responsible for the day-to-day travel activities including a travel helpdesk support, reconciliations and the management of workloads and workflows via various communications platforms. Some other duties and responsibilities are:

- Management of contracted service providers
- flights, airlines, accommodation and rental cars
- Provide administrative support to Internal and external stakeholders
- Maintain knowledge of relevant legislations and regulations, providing policy and/or technical advice on travel matters
- Lead a small team of travel officers
- Prepare departmental submissions, briefs, reports, Freedom of Information request and other correspondence as required
- Review/update/develop travel related policies and procedural guidelines Manage internal compliance records and audits

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Must have travel management experience (preferably in APS)
- Be an Australian citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
- Strong stakeholder engagement/relationship skills
- Previous leadership / staff management experience
