An Australian-owned leader in their field, our client is a renowned Queensland brand with increasing expansion across Australia currently in progress.

Providing distribution, production, management and monitoring services to their customers within the resources sector, they harness innovative technologies that allow them to remain at the forefront of the industry and boast a friendly and supportive culture.

**Your Role**

Due to their increasing growth, they are now in need of a Credit Officer to join the team.

Reporting to the Credit and Accounts Receivable Supervisor alongside a Senior Accounts Receivable Officer and an Accounts Clerk, you will undertake all areas of credit and collections, including:

- Following up with customers on overdue payments
- Monitoring credit limit alerts
- Following up on Dishonoured direct debits
- Requesting increases in customer insurance cover
- Credit card processing
- Advising customers on credit card declines
- Following up with suppliers on remittances
- Updating of customer card/payment information
- Action Overpayments/Unapplied ledgers
- Responding to internal and external customer requests

**About You**

Previous experience in credit or collections and ledgers and accounts administration is required.

The major trait this team are seeking is a positive, friendly, customer-focused and can-do attitude, as you will be liaising heavily with internal and external parties so you must bring a friendly persona.

You will also need to demonstrate a level of confidence in being able to undertake collections calls with clients in a courteous manner.

The team uses efficient software and boasts a paperless environment, so some experience with computer systems and software is required.
