**About the role**:
JBS are currently recruiting an experienced Accounts Receivable Officer to join the Group Accounts Receivable & Credit team in a permanent full-time capacity. Based at our JBS Corporate head office in Wacol, and reporting to the Group Accounts Receivable & Credit Manager, this role is best suited to an experienced AR Officer or someone who is highly motivated to broaden their skillset by assisting the team with general credit, collections and claims handling tasks.

**Responsibilities include (but are not limited to)**:

- Proactive management of customer accounts in accordance with company credit terms and policies.
- Prepare statements and reconciliations on customer accounts to manage overdue invoices, deductions and unallocated payments.
- Co-ordinate and manage relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure A/R related queries are resolved.
- Validate and process claims according to policy.
- Preparing and maintaining reports as and when required.
- General ad hoc accounts receivable/credit duties as required

**About you**:

- Previous experience in a high-volume Accounts Receivable role
- Tertiary qualifications in finance, accounting or business discipline advantageous, though not required
- Customer focused attitude
- Previous experience in SAP desirable, though not required
- Intermediate Excel skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to prioritise and work to strict deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Proactive, self-sufficient and a confident communicator
