Working with one the of world’s largest fresh Dairy companies, we now have an exciting opportunity that has become available for a **Credit Officer** join their Customer Credit Team. This team is responsible for the maintenance and service of assigned customer accounts while complying with internal policies and procedures. Use your well-rounded credit experience to excel in this exciting role with an engaged and flexible team

**About the role**:
This role will allow you to utilise your all-round credit, accounts receivable or collections experience to:

- Monitor assigned trading accounts and employ approved follow up procedures to ensure that customers are kept within trading terms.
- Reconcile customer accounts as required.
- Appropriately asses, seek approval and direct claims to be processed efficiently.
- Handle customer account enquiries.
- Allocate account payments where required.
- Negotiate with customers and adapt quickly to changing scenarios to provide positive outcomes for the business and its customers.
- Follow up of any pricing issues within other departments and their stakeholders.
- End of month code reporting and other reporting where required.

**About you**:
You are a strong communicator, with polished technical skills and know how to build relationships with key stakeholders to gather the information you need and to influence business outcomes. Your experience will include;
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an accounts receivable, credit or collection’s role.
- You have strong Microsoft Excel skills.
- You are an expert in the software SAP.
- You have a strong reputable customer service background in an outbound environment.
- You think quickly on your feet, a problem solver and are proactive in your communication.
- You adaptable communication allows you to build relationships quickly with customers to ascertain desired outcomes for the business and your customers.
