**Your Role**

We are on the hunt for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Officer to join our dedicated finance team on a fixed term,part time basis In this pivotal role, you will manage the School’s accounts payable function using our Information Management System, Synergetic. Your contributions will be key in ensuring smooth financial operations and fostering positive relationships with our suppliers.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Process domestic and international creditor payments while adhering to credit terms.
- Maintain the accounts payable system and coordinate updates with IT.
- Ensure accurate electronic filing of invoices and payment records for audits.
- Manage GST treatment and ensure precision in payment processing.
- Prepare and reconcile payments while tracking departmental budgets and capital expenditures.
- Address supplier queries and nurture effective supplier relationships.
- Monitor utilities accounts and resolve billing discrepancies.
- Coordinate vehicle registration renewals and maintain accurate records.
- Assist with audits by providing essential documentation.

**Your Profile**

We are looking for a proactive individual who embodies our commitment to excellence and community values. Here’s what you need to bring:

- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in an Accounts Payable role.
- Proficiency in financial systems and the Microsoft Office suite.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong numerical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- A collaborative spirit, open to feedback and teamwork.
- Experience in an educational setting is highly regarded; familiarity with Synergetic is a plus.
- A valid Working with Children Check and alignment with our Statement of Faith.
