**Description**:
**The Role**:
Based in our Mascot campus, the Product Manager will own the definition and success of 5B's disruptive "solar farm in a box" product and report to the Head of Product Development. The Product Manager will also be responsible for identifying and analysing customer problems and market opportunities to build product strategy, then work cross-functionally to deliver solutions to market.

**Key Deliverables/ Responsibilities**:

- Engage deeply with customers, partners and 5B sales stakeholders to define and prioritise product requirements and value proposition.
- Identify and define new products and new product features, defining a vision for the product and engaging cross functionally to establish feasibility and viability.
- Build product and technology roadmaps and co-manage delivery to ensure that value is delivered to market on time and within budget.
- Control budget related to new product investments, lead cost decisions, evaluate make or buy decisions and act with authority to determine the go forward position.
- Regular reporting to organisation, including Executive team, on status of new product development, performance of product in market, material product lifecycle changes, and the like. Continually improve product management and new product development systems and processes.
- Co-ordinate cross-functional teams to bring products to market.

- You will have a growth mindset and love of getting things done.
- You will have experience in product management, project management, sales, technical sales, commercial or techno-commercial role.
- Superstar generalist with product or project management background.
- Experience in technical product management, engineering, manufacturing, rapid prototyping or similar.
- Degree qualified in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical or Renewables) /MBA.
- Excellent communication skills will be critical.
