**Overview**

Responsible for the end to end workforce management process including forecasting, scheduling, real time management and process change management to ensure that Link Group achieves optimum utilisation of its staff supporting business unit goals, client goals, and corporate objectives.

**Key Accountabilities and main responsibilities**

Strategic Focus
- Manage the forecasting of long, medium
- Collect and research historical data from previous initiatives and projects to develop accurate assumptions for planned initiatives and future forecast periods
- Analyse trends within assigned operations, including work volumes and patterns, staff productivity, staff capacity and resource allocation, and use the analysis results to forecast work arrival patterns
- Develop schedules to match volume forecasts and meet service agreements

Operational Management
- Manage large amounts of data to identify workforce shortages, conduct root cause analysis while working toward strategically impactful solutions to address these issues
- Understand leave requirements and support the business unit to manage leave in line with budget assumptions
- Engage with stakeholders and clients via regular face to face contact, actively involved with business units, increasing understanding and effectiveness
- Manage the development of rosters taking into account multiple Enterprise Agreement (EA) provisions and other employment conditions
- Real Time Management

Governance & Risk
- Understand business unit priorities and strategic goals and take action to support and drive business. Use evidence to inform and develop resource plans

**Experience & Personal Attributes**
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of resource planning with a particular focus on call centres
- Strong workforce analytics experience, identifying disruption and understanding success drivers
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy and time management
- Experience in developing and delivering quality/accurate reporting to support business units
- Leverage forecasting and scheduling tool(s) to predict work volumes to plan for staff requirements
- Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills, with the ability to promote and influence new workforce planning concepts
- Experience in process and procedure documentation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
