Job Description Summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Resource Optimisation and Planner, to join Service Stream in our Telecommunications team, based in Melbourne.
About the Role
Positioned within ServiceStream’s Operational Support Services, the Performance and Forecasting Coordinator role is to coordination of the operational performance and success of the ServiceStream Performance and Forecasting group and general customer experience.
Demonstrating a strategic approach to all deliverables, your ability to collaborate, analyse, problem solve, risk mitigate, persevere, and provide solutions focused outcomes within a demanding agile environment within budget and on time is crucial. A commitment to essential ongoing delivery areas.
Continual process and system improvement, Compliance with environmental, safety, quality and client service programs and systems and Driving and delivering outcomes in line with internal and external KPI and SLA’s. Primarily you should possess exceptional interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills and an ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with clients, internal and external stakeholders.
You should have an appreciation for the benefits of a dynamic team-based culture and the challenges and rewards associated with contributing to a fast paced, large integrated telecommunication support function.

Reporting Line: Resource Optimization, Compliance & Planning Manager
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate national-based reporting forecasts and progress on all key measures of performance both internally and externally across the Telecommunications division
- Effectively communicate actions and outcomes around resources and demand to achieve the division's
- performance and forecasting objectives
- Preparing and reviewing an effective communications strategy of all reporting measures to ensure all key
- stakeholders have clear visibility of all critical measures/metrics, including future views and targets set by the client
- Work with a defined governance framework for the delivery of the division's deliverables for performance and forecasting
- Identifying and evaluating each division's performance forecast v's actually and implementing ongoing
- strategies and solutions to maintain positive outcomes
- Proactively review forecasts to achieve internal and external KPI and SLA
- Communication complex problems quickly and effectively to an executive workforce and develop and maintain
- strong working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with all parties: internal, client and external fields, to
- proactively understand any emerging trends, concerns, forthcoming demand, skill, or regional gaps
- Patriciate in National Governance meetings to present progress of all key measures and update on initiatives SS are proactively engaged in.
- Conducting business to the highest standard and following the ServiceStream Core Values.
- Develop strong working and collaborative relationships with the Operational Support Services management team to ensure knowledge, impacts and delivery strategy of the workforce are continuously aligned
Experience Required
- Demonstrated experience in complex forecast and resource modelling
- Demonstrated experience using Power BI reporting to monitor outcomes and performance
- Demonstrated experience in working with various regulatory authorities
- Experience gained on large complex construction, industrial, technical, or commercial projects
About You

- To perform all specified duties under the company’s ISO & AS/NZS accredited Management Systems and Federal Safety Commissioner.

Qualifications required
- Experience working in petrochemical background supervising multi discipline workgroups.
- Manual driver’s license
- Construction industry induction card ‘white card’
- First Aid Certificate (Level II)
