**Overview**
- Responsible for the end-to-end resource management process for client groups which includes forecasting, budgets, reporting, and process change management to ensure that the Link Group achieves optimum utilisation of its staff. Lead a group of resource planners to support the delivery of the workforce management processes per client group through mentoring and coaching to achieve desired outcomes. Support the processes for managing FTE tracking, requisitions and operational reporting to support business unit goals, client goals, and corporate objectives.**Key Accountabilities and main responsibilities**
- Strategic Focus- Understand business unit priorities and strategic goals, and take action to support and drive business improvement and change
- Collaborate across the Business Planning team on the development and design of data collection and methodology that supports optimal use of data, including enhanced self-service opportunities
- Provide input into the modelling of FTE requirements for the budget process, and understand the business strategy and key drivers for value-add activities
- Operational Management- Manage the forecasting of long, medium
- and short-term volumes to support workload estimates
- Manage large amounts of data to identify workforce requirements that fit with business strategy and prepare reports and presentations that skillfully articulate potential opportunities or solutions to issues
- Prepare metric reporting for business units including trend analysis
- Model annual leave requirements and support the business unit to manage annual leave in line with budget assumptions
- People Leadership- Lead a team of resource planners to support the effective delivery and on time requirements of all resource planning activity
- Work with the National Manager, Workforce Planning & Optimisation and Lead Operational leaders to challenge and validate assumptions used for forecasting and budget process
- Governance & Risk- Provide support and advice to the business on multiple Enterprise Agreement (EA) provisions and other employment conditions
- Acts in an advisory capacity to the team and management on resource planning requirements, sharing knowledge, and supporting key stakeholders
- Engage with stakeholders via regular face to face contact, actively involved with business units, increasing understanding and effectiveness

**Experience & Personal Attributes**
- Demonstrated and detailed knowledge and understanding of resource and workforce planning
- Ability to model workforce requirements and overlay business strategy to inform business decisions
- Leverage forecasting and scheduling tool(s) to predict work volumes to plan for staff requirements
- Skilled key stakeholder management and negotiation skills, with the ability to articulate requirements through reports and presentations
- Comprehensive skill and ability in developing and delivering quality, accurate reporting to support business units
- Gensys Cloud environment
