Trellis is a Software and Data-as-a-Service provider supporting typically large organisations to speed up their sustainability journey towards net-zero and utility / resource optimization.

Trellis leverages various technologies to intercept, process and interpret large volumes of financial grade data to support business and government make better data-based decisions, boost sustainability, optimize operations and ultimately achieve better environmental and financial outcomes.

Since launching in 2018, Trellis has achieved incredible success in growing a national clientele made up of blue-chip customers including: local and state government, Universities, and large corporates.

The business has a highly capable and experienced core team, is well funded by a group of committed investors, well supported by a highly experienced board, and has developed a clear strategy for continued growth.

**More about the position.**

As part of the next phase of growth, we are excited to be helping the organisation find a new CEO to take over from one of the Founders who has been performing this role to date.

To be successful in this role, some of the main measures of success will be:

- Ownership and delivery of strategic and operational plans, which deliver on the Trellis vision and mission and objectives.
- Establishing robust reporting processes against key success factors to ensure the organisation achieves and even exceeds performance targets and KPIs.
- Drive lead generation and new customer acquisition through strong strategic community management, networks and alliance partnerships.
- Continuing to grow and develop the capability of the team.
- Continued high level of staff satisfaction and engagement.

**Of course, you will need to be passionate about leading a scaling sustainability focused SAAS business, but you will also have**:

- A proven track record and a minimum of 5 years in a senior executive role within a scale up environment (you may currently be a senior operations, COO or CEO role).
- Prior exposure to the tech space (particularly a SAAS or DAAS business) will be viewed favourably.
- A background or significant exposure / experience in sustainability or ESG will be viewed favourably.
- Strong people and project manager with a strength in managing day to day operations across the board.
- Natural sales strength and brand ambassador.
- Have a high energy with exceptional communication skills and a collaborative approach.
- The ability to lead, inspire and motivate a team.
- High Information Technology literacy and exposure to systems that can automate, simplify and streamline internal activities and customer touchpoints.

Existing relationships and networks within local, state and federal government and/or medium/large sized organisations will also be viewed favourably.
