We have an opportunity for a professional, highly motivated, passionate and proactive Incident Management Specialist with a background in SIRS, complaints resolution and investigations to join our team. Reporting directly to the Investigations Manager, your primary focus will be to support effective end-to-end incident management across the Residential Aged Care business. **The key focus of the role will be to**: - All reportable incidents are identified and reported within regulatory timeframes and classifications - All reportable incidents have appropriate investigations, are documented thoroughly with improvements identified - Liaise directly with Operations Managers to support in their incident management process - Investigate and respond to calls in relation to Priority 1 incidents - Collate information for reportable incident reporting, undertake analysis and look for trends and themes to inform broader business - Maintain reportable incident register and collate documentation - Provide regular training and ongoing support with incident management systems in line with policies and procedures ***To be considered for this role you will require**: - Previous experience investigating serious incidents (SIRS), compliant resolution and reporting - Strong understanding of the Serious Incident Reporting Scheme and all incident management requirements under the Aged Care Act and Regulations and National Disability Insurance Scheme Act and Regulations - Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills with the ability to negotiate and influence a range of stakeholders. - High degree of empathy and experience in resolving difficult and complex complaints. - Strong working knowledge of the aged care industry, residential aged care operations and the regulatory requirements for complaint resolution is highly desirable - Experience responding to the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission is highly desirable. - Registered Nurse experience highly desirable **What We Can Offer** - Our culture is both supportive and collaborative where you can make your role your own.
