Due to continued growth an exceptional opportunity exists for a bid manager to join this expanding team. Working closely with the business development director you will be responsible for building a bid pipe line that will support the achievement of profitable and sustainable growth. You will develop the defence market and opportunities, implement a clear bid strategy, developing win themes and differentiators before, during and after the tender process. You will manage a small team of bid writers, commercial managers etc. whilst juggling all aspects of major bids, contract negotiation and transition. You will develop relationships with clients, industry bodies, government official and political advisors both locally and in Asia. You will have overall autonomy to lead and develop the strategy for the bid / tender process.

To be successful you will have a proven track record of major wins and be able to demonstrate effective bid planning and management. You will already have built solid relationships within the defence sector and have the ability to manage internal and external stakeholders.
