**Roles & responsibilities**:
- Determine, implement, and monitor the strategies, policies and plans for planning, storage, and distribution.
- Prepare and implement plans to maintain the required finished-item stock levels at minimum cost.
- Negotiate contracts with vendors to meet quality, cost and delivery requirements.
- Monitor and review storage and inventory systems to meet demand requirements and control stock levels across all warehouses including 3PL warehouses.
- Operate recording systems to track all movements of sales orders and finished goods, to ensure the re-delivering and re-stocking at optimal times.
- Liaise with other departments and customers concerning requirements for outward goods and associated forwarding transportation.
- Oversee the recording of sales, storage and distribution transactions.
- Work with key business partners to manage change and balance supply and demand within all key planning horizons (daily, weekly and monthly).
- Establish and lead detailed product forecasts and liaison with other planning team members to manage change and balance supply and demand within a wider S&OP function.
- Partner with key stakeholders to update the demand plan in volume and value, striving for alignment with business plans that support delivery of share and profit aspirations.
- Develop key risks and opportunities to demand plans while utilising forecasting and communication tools to ensure the demand plan is visible in both volume and dollars.
- Own processes that convert demand plans into actionable data, and ensure processes are in place to drive robustness, repeatability and continuity in demand data flowing within the planning horizons.
- Assist in managing demand based on product life cycle - from new product to end of life stages to maximise service whilst minimise risks & costs.
- Review and highlight Excess, shorted-date and expired finished goods with relevant stakeholders across all 3PL warehouses.
- Develop and implement inventory (finished goods only) control measures to prevent stockouts, excess inventory, and reduce scrap of expired inventory.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, sales, and finance, to align inventory goals with overall business objectives and expected customer service levels.
- Generate reports and provide analysis on inventory performance metrics, such as fill rates, stockouts, and inventory turnover.
- Root cause analysis and action planning of demand driven orders/volume cut
- Monitor both CHEP & Loscam pallet accounts, and Perform monthly CHEP & Loscam Reconciliations, as well as Correcting and/or rejecting any pallet documentation errors.
- Assist in EDI integration for all projects where necessary.
- Any other tasks defined by the Directors and Head of the department.
**Key Skills and Experience Required**:
- Min 1-2 years of experience and knowledge of import-export dynamics (preferable).
- Tertiary education in relevant field would be beneficial.
- Negotiating skills and strong problem-solving attitude.
- Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office suit, particularly Excel.
- Written and spoken professional English proficiency.
- Proactive can-do attitude, attention to details, willing to learn and with
professional manner.
Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
