**Your Opportunity**
- Assists the Front Office Manager in planning, directing, controlling, coordinating and participating in all Front Office operations to ensure the smooth running of those departments, including Concierge, AYS, Night Audit, Front Office and loss prevention.
- Liaises closely with the Front Office Manager and the Reservation Manager to ensure that revenue from room sales is maximized and rebates are mínimal.
- Acts as a Manager on Duty for Guest Enquiries and Complaints. Follows through with relevant departments to ensure action is taken.
- Handles Guest complaints with patience and in the most professional manner, ensuring the matter is resolved.
- Follows up with guest complaints to maximise satisfaction and improve services and operations of hotel to reduce future occurrences.
- Ensures the reception are prepared for arrivals with accurate room allocations and guest preferences, working with Housekeeping Department to ensure readiness of rooms and requests are provided.
- Gives personal attention to VIP, Platinum and return guests of the hotel, ensuring recognition.
- Responsible for the maintenance of guest profile information.
- Responsible for the ongoing performance of GuestVoice scores related to Front Office and hotel service.
- Works with Reservations and Revenue Management to maximize occupancy by monitoring forward occupancy and room type bookings and balancing inventory as required, managing websites and inventory on the day.
- Responsible for the ordering of Front Office consumable stock and overseeing Front Office cost control.
- Involved in hotel strategy and revenue design by participation in strategy meetings.
- Ensures strategies are implemented from the Front Office team.
- Training associates and refining The Mark experience in line with the Autograph Oversees and ensure the smooth, courteous and efficient operation of all areas of the Front Office Department.
**What we ask of you**
- 2 - 3 years of experience as a Duty Manager in a Luxury Hotel environment.
- An up to date RSA.
- Displays high grooming standards.
- A genuinely warm & welcoming demeanor.
