**Roles: Sales Development Representative & Business Development Representative**
**Location: Sydney**
**Basis: Full Time**
Salesforce's Business Development team, are the fuel to our revenue engine. Made up of _Sales Development Representatives (SDR's), _who drive engagement with inbound inquiries, and _Business Development Representatives (BDR's) _who are responsible for sourcing and engaging with new business opportunities. Both work very closely with the Account Executives who make up our Sales Team to identify prospective new clients across all areas of business and industry.
We achieve this through strategic outreach, proactive engagement and qualifying of leads. Subsequently laying the foundations for our AE's to further develop and fully realise each opportunity.
This team is a true melting-pott of experience and is as diverse as the customers we work with. Our people come from a range of industries and career paths; Professional Services, Travel, Law, Sales, Finance, Defence, Fitness, Retail, and Trades. The list truly goes on.
- Outstanding communication and relationship building _will be central to success in your day-to-day, as you work with and adapt to each potential client, understanding their unique needs, and collaborate to create a tailored cloud solution.
- Resilience and a learners-mindset _will also be essential in your initial onboarding and beyond while working to expand your understanding of the Salesforce platform and solution, and put your growing sales-skills into practice.
Of course, being sales roles, metrics of success are measured on a monthly quota of qualified sourced opportunities and closed business, being a self-starter and motivated by a goal will support your success.

- Strong communication and ability to engage meaningfully
- Prior experience in sales, **OR **a strong desire to work in a goal-centric role within a tech environment
- Ability to prioritise contending tasks with tight turnaround time
- Lateral problem-solving skills
- Intellectual horsepower with a hunger to learn
- Self-motivated with a bias for action
- Experience will be evaluated based on alignment to the core competencies for the role (e.g. extracurricular leadership roles, military experience, volunteer work, etc.). _
