**About the Role**

As part of our dedication to increasing organisation and community resilience, we are seeking a dynamic and passionate individual to join our team as a Resource and Resilience Officer.

Your commencing annual salary will range from $81,854 to $92,086.67 + superannuation, dependent on your demonstrated experience and qualifications.

**About You**

As the Resource and Resilience Officer, you will play a pivotal role in driving Ryde’s resilience efforts through programs and projects that increase community capacity and build and foster local urban resilience in the city. You will lead and drive collaboration with various stakeholders and partners, developing and implementing programs and initiatives of the Resilience Plan against nominated timelines.

You will be required to drive and deliver on these initiatives as lead for the Plan delivery and so, the role will only be suited to a highly motivated, independent, self-starter with a passion for delivery of outcomes.

**Key Requirements**
- Design and deliver corporate and community programs embedding resilience across Council and Community.
- Communicate complex issues across diverse audiences and stakeholders with differing levels of understanding, both written and verbally
- Strong presentation and collaboration confidence able to present, educate and build relationships across various audiences to drive outcomes and improve resilience networks in the city.
- Ability to prepare reports, grant submissions, and communications on a wide variety of resilience, resource or sustainability topics as required to various audiences.
- Ability to work occasional weekends/ weekday evenings (to be determined as aligned to individual project needs).
- Current NSW Class C drivers’ licence**.**
