**About the role**

Reporting to the Chief HSE & Sustainability Officer, The Head of Risk and Resilience is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the enterprise risk framework and Resilience Framework to enable the effective and ethical management of Pacific National.

This role ensures that risk identification, assessment, mitigation, and resilience strategies align with organisational objectives and regulatory requirements.

Key accountabilities include:

- Plan, engage and co-ordinate resources to effectively deliver the companywide risk and control assessment process, including review of key risk and control information in risk registers.
- Develop and maintain a high-quality Resilience Framework including business resilience plans and crisis and emergency management.
- Conduct risk assessments and scenario planning exercises to identify vulnerabilities and enhance resilience capabilities.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to integrate resilience into business processes and decision-making.
- Generate regular risk reports and metrics for senior leadership and board review, highlighting key risks, mitigation efforts, and emerging threats.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to risk management and resilience.
- Develop and maintain risk management policies, procedures, and frameworks, incorporating best practices and industry trends.

**About you**

As the Head of Risk and Resilience, you will play a crucial role in shaping our risk management strategy and ensuring compliance with the highest industry standards. You will have the ability to work both independently and in a team environment, shifting between the role of an individual contributor, team player and project manager in the context of this role’s independence.

To be successful in this role you will need:

- Tertiary qualification in Risk Management, Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 10+ years of operational risk and resilience experience with relevant industry experience highly desirable
- Demonstrable experience delivering risk and risk control outcomes.
- Experience in developing and managing Resilience Frameworks in a relevant industry.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders across the organisation, including senior leadership, board members, and operational teams.
- Strategic thinking and the ability to align risk management and resilience efforts with organisational goals and objectives.
- Experience in developing risk metrics, dashboards, and reporting mechanisms.
- Demonstrate and maintain a high standard of integrity and professionalism
