**Who we’re looking for**

We are looking for individuals with a passion for sales and commercially driven, who can build relationships and have strong communication skills with a range of stakeholders. Some industry experience in airfreight operations and knowledge of customs regulations would be ideal. To be successful in this position, you must have excellent organisational, attention to detail and multi-tasking skills, and a strong ability to problem solve.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Cargo Handling and Documentation management including:Coordinate and manage the registration of airfreight shipments.
- Handle the documentation process, including customs clearance and air cargo complianceManage driver daily run sheet for cargo retrievalsData entry to company systemCustoms Compliance includes:Maintain up to date knowledge of customs regulations and procedures to facilitate smooth clearance process

Sound understanding of ICS website to resolve any issues related to import airfreight shipments

Client invoicing
- Maintain latest rate cards and quotes provided by customer service teams and communicate with original offices to request missing debit notes.
- Communication and CoordinationLiaise with international airlines and ground handling agents to coordinate the timely movement of goods from the airport back to our bonded warehouse
- Communicate efficiently and effectively with internal teams to provide updates on shipment status and resolve any operational issues

Quality Control
- Conduct quality checks on incoming airfreight shipments to ensure compliance and correct job registration
- Track flight schedules and update client services of any delays or missing cargo
- dentify and report any discrepancies or damages, taking appropriate corrective actions

**Experience & Qualifications**
- Minimum 1 year experience in airfreight operations or related field preferred, not essential as training will be provided
- Knowledge of customs regulations and import airfreight procedures
- Excellent working knowledge of MS Office products and ability to quickly learn and use relevant software

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
