**Description**:
As the ‘face of the company’ to clients and passengers, this role forms part of the Ground Handling Team responsible for the delivery of Ground Handling Services, whilst maintaining the safety and security of the ramp at all times.
**Key responsibilities**:
- Deliver ground handling services on behalf of Star Aviation customers, ensuring compliance and safety regulations are met to the highest standards at all times.
- Perform Ramp functions including marshalling aircraft on the ramp (e.g. directing, assisting and parking all arriving, departing and towed aircraft)
- Transfer cargo (including luggage) to other gates, other airlines and to passengers
- Responsible for courteous, prompt, accurate and careful handling of customer baggage, airfreight and company material; continuous lifting, loading/unloading, sorting and transfer of baggage, freight and company material.
- Represent both the Airline and Star to the highest-level ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Report to the Airport Manager in a timely manner on any issues or activities likely to influence operations or relations with airline customers.
- Ensure compliance with all Uniform & PPE requirements
**Skills and Experiences**:
- Competent in the operational requirements of Ground Handling
- Thorough understanding of the Aviation Industry
- Awareness of the importance in achieving on time performance goals in an efficient and safe manner
- Excellent organisation and time management skills
- Strong ability to multi-task, priorities and meet deadlines
- Customer focus to deliver exceptional service
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and situations
- Able to work well in a fast-paced team environment
- Capable of report writing, in plain and clear English
- Intermediate skills for Microsoft Office Suite
