The Position

Unique role looking after a partner of a freight forwarder and liaising between the company and the airline. Lots of variety working in a fast-paced role.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure bookings are completed and monitored
  • Relay any delays to customers and if required escalate to manager
  • Coordinate all domestic and international air freight
  • Ensure freight is Customs cleared prior to delivery
  • Follow up with freight availability
  • Book deliveries with transport companies

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven air freight experience essential within the Australian market or a junior willing to learn
  • Good knowledge of Australian Customs and Quarantine requirements
  • Must have the ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in either import or export air freight
