UGL is currently looking for a suitably qualified **_HSE Advisor _**to join the team. As a key member of the team, this role will be responsible for providing support to the Operations Team for all safety, health and environment activities on site. This is a permanent opportunity and is based on site at Tarong Power Station, near Kingaroy, Queensland

**Key responsibility areas**
- Provide advice and support in the implementation and auditing of Safety, Health and Environment Management Plans
- Ensuring compliance with the Safety and Environment Management plan, Traffic Management plan and Fatigue Management plan
- Advise on all safety, health and environmental issues
- Analyse safety statistics, and report on trends and recommend actions to improve safety
- Review all project activities, work practices and procedures for continuous improvement in safety, health and environment
- Provide support and advice to Supervisors in order to achieve health and safety objectives

**About You**
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role
- Formal qualifications in Occupational Health and Safety
- Experience in maintenance or shutdown projects
- Computer literacy and proficiency in the use of Microsoft products in particular Word, Excel and Outlook
