**The role**

The Office of Local Government (OLG) is currently seeking to appoint a **Communications Officer** to devise, oversee, and coordinate the development, review and dissemination of stakeholder communications, web content, audio visual content, publications, educational, and other communications materials required for the NSW Pet Registry upgrade project.

**What you will bring to the role**
- Appreciation of audio-visual content creation for use in digital communications channels, including web portals, social media and training environments.
- A high level of attention to detail, maturity and sound judgement.
- Knowledge on the latest content and digital trends, tools and techniques.
- Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
- Solid time management and organisational skills to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines efficiently.
- The confidence to engage with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders

**What is an Essential Requirement?**
- Tertiary qualifications in related discipline and/or relevant equivalent experience.

OLG is responsible for local government across NSW. OLG has a policy, legislative, investigative and program focus in matters ranging from local government finance, infrastructure, governance, performance, collaboration and engagement. OLG is a key agency within the cluster, responsible for strengthening the sustainability, performance, integrity, transparency and accountability of the local government sector. OLG strives to work collaboratively with the local government sector and is the key advisor to the NSW Government on local government matters.
