**Role Overview**:
As the Complex Events Planning Executive you are responsible for managing and executing events across multiple properties, ensuring every detail aligns with client expectations and brand standards. This role involves planning, coordinating, and overseeing all aspects of events, from initial client consultations to final execution, while collaborating with internal teams to deliver seamless service. You act as a key point of contact for clients, providing personalized support and addressing their needs to ensure successful outcomes. With a focus on creativity, organization, and operational excellence, you drive the delivery of memorable events that enhance guest satisfaction and contribute to the overall success of the properties.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Respond to telephone inquiries and direct follow up to the appropriate team member
- Ability to be able to assist and coordinate entertainment, sites and famils, manage large entertainment projects and assist in coordination of trade shows
- Assist in the maintenance of databases, ensuring account, contact and booking profiles are updated daily and are accurate per the Marriott International standards
- Take MICE phone enquiries, qualify leads and distribute to the sales team. Prepare basic catering proposals where needed.
- Assist with MICE and Special Corporate contract administration including preparation, invoicing, processing deposits, GDS load forms, CI/TY activities
- Maintain and have data accuracy in systems such as, but not limited to: CI/TY, MI Leads, Opera

**About You**:

- At least 2 years Catering and Events Sales experience preferably within a high volume environment
- Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, Event Management, or related field
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and F&B operations
- Outstanding relationship building skills
- Previous hotel sales department experience
- Must have a relevant diploma or higher, or hold at least 2 or more years relevant experience
- Thrive on direct engagement with a vision to grow and develop yourself and the business
- Be results driven and have a demonstrated ability to achieve targets
- Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation and presentation skill
- The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- The highest level of professionalism and presentation
