About the role

We’re on the lookout for a dynamic Head of Tech - Data & AI to lead our enterprise-wide Data & AI strategy and unlock real value across the organization.

The Role

As the Head of Tech - Data & AI, you’ll be at the forefront of AGL’s data and AI transformation. You’ll set the strategic direction, lead the delivery of high-impact initiatives, and champion data-driven innovation across the business. Partnering with technology teams, delivery leads, and business leaders, you’ll ensure AGL remains future-ready and data-smart.

What you’ll be doing- Define and execute AGL’s enterprise-wide Data & AI strategy.- Lead the adoption and scaling of AI technologies across business units.- Oversee data governance, analytics, and AI solution delivery.- Drive innovation through productionised proof of concepts and delivery excellence.- Champion a culture of data-led decision making.- Collaborate across technology, delivery, and executive teams to align data initiatives with enterprise strategy.- Manage AGL’s Data & AI Transformation program, working closely with internal teams and external partners.

What you’ll bring- Proven leadership experience in senior data, analytics, or AI roles.- Deep understanding of data governance, advanced analytics, and AI technologies.- Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills.- Experience influencing at all levels of the business and across diverse functions.- Practical expertise in Agile and DevOps environments.- Strategic mindset with a passion for driving innovation and continuous improvement.
