Outbound Logistics Manager

**About the role**:
We have an exciting opportunity available for an Outbound Logistics Manager to join our Supply chain Team. Reporting to the Group Head of Supply Chain, you will support the Group’s domestic freight functions by facilitating communication between internal Accent Group business departments, external suppliers, and service providers. Maintaining accurate records and system data, providing suitable feedback and reporting to the relevant business units. Additionally, the Outbound Logistics team is accountable for DIFOT, freight invoice analysis and approval.
The Outbound Logisitics Manager supports the overall team objective of ensuring all product is made available to our market without delay or unnecessary costs.
This is a Parental Leave Contract for up to 12 Months.

**Your key responsibilities will include**:

- Manage the day-to-day operations to meet operational and service objectives
- Sound understanding of all logistics strategy and practices
- Support internal staff with logistics-based queries, such as, transit times, network update, transport quotes to help people make informed decisions
- Experience in independently delivering short and long-term projects
- Responsible for the review of domestic freight invoices for the entire suite of brands to achieve cost savings through the identification of billing discrepancies
- Ability to analyse problems and contribute to sound judgement and decision-making
- Ability to use clear and accurate written communication to confidently interact with internal and external stakeholders either in person, by telephone, or written communication
- Provide accurate monthly freight reporting to the business on freight spend and DIFOT performance
- Negotiation is your second nature, ability to participate logistics contract negotiations for new work or contract renewals
- Strong Relationship management skills to work with multiple Logistics Partners and internal stakeholders
- Developing knowledge of domestic logistics and best practice
- Any other reasonable task as requested in line with the role objective or that results out of necessity to the Group
