**About the Opportunity**

Reporting to the Executive Manager CCSM PROGRAM you will be accountable for delivering on the execution of the Collin Class Submarine (CCSM) Program Maintenance Availabilities at both our South Australia and Western Australia facilities. You will ensure all projects within the CCSM program are safely and consistently delivered on schedule and on budget which will total in excess of $250M PA; the key outcome will be to enable consistent and reliable performance which manages risk and develops trust internally to the business and externally to our customer.

This role will operate within the ASC Matrix Organisation to elicit the company wide collaboration required to deliver on the portfolio of Maintenance Availabilities including the implementation of the numerous Capability Upgrades that are part of the Collins lifecycle to ensure it remains regionally relevant.

**Responsibilities**

As Head of Program (Delivery) you will be accountable for implementing best practice project management techniques (developed by the PMO) and delivering performance against the CCSM Program Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), for the following activities:

- Maintenance Availabilities, including Full Cycle Docking, Mid Cycle Docking, Intermediate Docking, and Intermediate Maintenance Period
- Leads a team of professionals to safely execute and deliver Program schedule on-time, to budget and to the desired quality.
- Drive and support the Program schedule as it relates to relevant CCSM Program
- Engage and motivate direct and indirect team members to understanding, alignment and achievement of project objectives
- Maintain easily accessible data and reports to clearly articulate status and focus areas
- Lead by example and maintain an effective relationship with various Stakeholders at all levels of the business
- Balances competing priorities relating to schedule, risk management and value for money outcomes

**About you**
- Tertiary qualification in Project Management (preferable) or Business/ Engineering with experience delivering high value complex projects with a minimum of 15 years’ experience, 4 of which are in a senior role.
- Advanced skills and experience in the full range of project management services required for this role.
- Strong analytic skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and influencing skills - written, verbal and interpersonal.
- Ability to set priorities and achieve deadlines within a fast paced environment.
- Demonstrated experience in achieving positive business and customer focused outcomes.
- Due to complex environment a high degree of stakeholder management both internally and externally is essential.
- Ability to convey information to the whole business through a variety of mediums in a manner that engages the audience and helps them understand and retain the message.
- Influences stakeholders to ensure Schedule and critical path are clearly understood and effectively supported across ASC Programs
- Adapts personal style to suit different people or situations.
