**About the Role**
The City of Darebin works in partnership to provide high quality, inclusive and accessible programs that respond to the diverse and changing needs of our community and support the care, education, health and wellbeing of children, young people and their families.

The CALD Early Years Outreach Officer is one role within this partnership approach that works alongside other universal and specialist services, including Maternal and Child Health, Family Services, Supported Playgroups, Kindergarten Registration and external services to facilitate kindergarten access, engagement and participation with CALD families throughout the municipality.

**Skills & Experience**
- Diploma of Early Childhood/Community Services or Community Development - Desirable
- Demonstrated knowledge of and experience in working in Early Childhood or Community Services.
- Sound knowledge of communication strategies to support a range of culturally and linguistically diverse families.
- Demonstrated capacity to communicate, collaborate and work in partnership with a range of stakeholders.
