**About the Role**
- Co-ordinate delivery of building compliance functions for Swimming Pools and Spas
- Provide customer service, administrative, and clerical support in the professional operation of the Building Services Unit
- Contribute to the delivery of service improvements with direction provided by the Municipal Building Surveyor and Building Services Lead
- Work with the Municipal Building Surveyor and Building Services Lead to establish a Building Unit that will be considered a model within Local Government and which constantly strives for continuous improvement and is a high-performing team with a strong culture of collaboration and service excellence
- Ensure accurate and up to date records, reporting and advice are provided to the public and Council staff.

**Skills & Experience**
- Well-developed administrative, organisational and customer services skills and experience
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Ability to develop processes and solutions and to be able to assess service performance and identify methods for improvement.
- Experience working in a local government building or compliance unit or related public sector area will be highly regarded.
