**Duties**

It’s an exciting time at icare where no two days are the same; as the **Actuary / Actuarial Advisor** within the Nominal Insurance Scheme you will:

- Undertake analysis that improves the understanding of icare’s performance including the development of innovative analytical solutions to meet organisational requirements.
- Provide leadership and guidance to projects that involve the Actuarial Team.
- Communicate $1$1to stakeholders at a variety of levels across the organisation and externally.

**Skills & Experience**
- Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries of Australia (or equivalent qualification) or comparable experience
- You will hold a Tertiary qualification at degree level in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or another relevant field
- Four or more years’ experience in an actuarial role in **general insurance/workers compensation is essential, life insurance will be considered**:

- Advanced organisational and time management skills, with exceptional communication skills
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and management - internal and external
