BAT Australia is looking for a National Account Execuitve to join our dynamic team.

The purpose of this role is to assist their team to develop and execute the Channel and Account strategies through proactive contribution and ownership.

Provide comprehensive support to the National Business Manager in the development, implementation and evaluation of account plans including volume, profit, market share, distribution and in-store objectives per brand to achieve the overall Commercial objectives.Provide comprehensive support to the National Business Manager in the development, implementation and evaluation of account plans including volume, profit, market share, distribution and in-store objectives per brand to achieve the overall Commercial objectives.

**Key Accountabilities**
- Gather the necessary information to classify and measure the performance of accounts to align the account plan with company/brand plans.
- Provide the National Business Manager with input in the development of a business plan appropriate for each account.
- Collect, analyse data and negotiate mutually beneficial selling propositions with accounts to grow profit, volume and market share.
- Managing the implementation of account plans for assigned accounts to ensure that volume / profit objectives per account are achieved through the most efficient use of resources.
- Manage consumer demand/supply side issues in accounts’ retail execution for the category.
- Lead by example and challenge others to raise standards and deliver stretch results.

**Critical Knowledge, Skills and Experience**
- At least 1 year in an analyst or account sales role in an environment with a trade channel or account management approach.
- High level general knowledge of Australian FMCG environment.
- Ability to use negotiation skills that are effective and yield results.
- Demonstrates strong commercial acumen by viewing situations and making decisions from a business perspective.
- Resilient when obstacles are encountered and bounces back from setbacks.
- Excellent presentation skills to deliver impactful presentations to customers.
