The Senior Account Executive is responsible for new business development via virtually prospecting, selling, and closing new merchant partners. This role is responsible for achieving (and surpassing) weekly & quarterly sales targets with uncapped commission, and high upside potential.

**As a Senior Account Executive at Ritual you will**:

- Own a sales cycle from start to finish You will work with new merchants closely from initial contact to closing the account. This includes prospecting and qualifying net-new merchants, outreach, pitching, and closing the deal.
- Pitch operationally complex merchants through phone and video call demos that require a deep dive into their operational processes and overcoming objections; adapt communication styles dependent on the merchant sophistication and specific needs.
- On occasion, transition to in-field sales to blitz target regions with the highest value or key brand accounts
- Enter all required onboarding information into Salesforce, collaborating with Operations and Partner Success to transition merchants to quick a onboarding turnaround from time of entry
- Deliver exceptional and consistent customer service to all accounts. Building loyal and strong relationships at a local level
- Build a personal sales strategy to grow business at a high speed and ensure agile execution; generate and consider options when strategizing to achieve individual and national team goals
- Be accountable for achieving and reporting on daily, weekly and monthly KPIs

**We're looking for a Senior Account Executive that has**:

- 1+ years of sales experience closing a high volume of deals
- University or College degree preferred
- Excellent communication skills, comfortable presenting and pitching virtually and in-person
- Hustle: Take ownership of Ritual's growth and do whatever it takes to get the job done
- Is self-driven**:You have superior organizational skills; integrity and great follow through on tasks, even when multitasking. You don't get overwhelmed easily.
- Is a high achiever: Drive, ownership and execution are core to our sales execution. You should be able to point to multiple examples from the past which clearly demonstrate how you overcame obstacles to deliver against sales targets.
- Are authentic and genuine: Can we throw you in any conversation and you'd thrive? We work with a range of cafes, restaurants and QSRs. You should be able to kick around any conversation and make others feel comfortable.

**Bonus points if you**:

- Existing experience or relationships within the restaurant industry
- Are bilingual in Mandarin, Cantonese or another language
