An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced broker to join Marsh's Affinity segment in Adelaide. Reporting to the Head of Transport, SA, you will be a senior member of the team and be responsible for the retention, growth and profitability of a portfolio of key SME accounts. This includes managing and developing client relationships, acting as the client's trusted advisor, pursuing new business development in conjunction with the Growth team, and expanding the breadth of Marsh products and services to our clients.

**We will count on you to**:

- Manage a portfolio of key accounts, ensuring that a high degree of quality customer service is provided to all clients at all times
- Maximise team and account profitability through the implementation of efficient and effective work practices, adequate client billing and sensible expense control
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with decision makers within your portfolio of clients whilst taking an active role as Senior Relationship Officer for your team’s accounts
- Lead, plan and implement clear and effective renewal and broking strategies, ensuring renewal process and results meet client expectations
- Actively developing additional business from existing portfolio.

**We would like you to have**:

- 5+ years’ experience in managing a portfolio of SME clients, creating and converting new business and growth opportunities
- Technical skills on key General Insurance classes including Industrial Special Risks, General Liability, Motor Fleet, Marine and Accident & Health lines
- Strong business acumen including a well-rounded knowledge of general business functions including finance, management and risk
- Excellent working relationships with insurers and underwriting partners
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact at all levels of client organisations including the ‘C’ Suite as well as internal Marsh stakeholders.
