**Position description**:
We seek an enthusiastic **Scientific Officer (Health Professional) **to join our laboratory in **Gledswood Hills.** You will be an essential team member, and your responsibilities will include the following:

- Providing specialist advice to internal and external stakeholders in a timely manner
- Conduct routine maintenance, troubleshooting equipment and identifying opportunities for process improvement.
- Ensure quality compliance and standards meet regulatory framework
- Operating in a multi-skilled capacity on disciplines including Haematology, Coagulation, Blood Bank and Biochemistry

- Open to working full time hours on a rotating roster Monday to Sunday 24/7 covering both morning and after hour shifts.
- Graduated with a Medical Science Degree or recognised AIMS equivalent. You must be eligible for professional membership at the Australian Institute of Medical Scientists.
- Minimum two years experience in Haematology, Coagulation, Blood Bank and Biochemistry.
- A hard-working, motivated individual with strong communication skills
- Highly knowledgeable in quality control techniques
- Team player with the ability to work unsupervised
- Strong attention to detail with good time management skills
