**About this role**

We are looking for a motivated **Executive Assistant** with a positive, ‘can-do’ attitude to support the Grant Thornton **Private Business Tax and Advisory (Private Advisory)** team in Adelaide.

You will provide maternity leave cover over a period of 12 months, with the possibility of extension. This is an office-based role offered on either a full-time or part-time (4 days per week) basis. For part-time, coverage is required on Mondays and Fridays, with the remaining two days per week flexible.

**Key responsibilities**
- General administrative duties such as electronic filing, scanning and document management
- Take ownership of client records and administration across all platforms
- Collaborate with corporate secretarial team
- Prepare proposals
- Create client information packs
- Conduct ATO calls and follow-ups as required
- Workflow scheduling, diary and travel coordination
- Events management
- Internal team communications
- Proactively anticipate needs and support required by the Partners and broader team

**Skills and experience**

As an internal client-facing role, excellent customer service and interpersonal skills are essential, as are a strong attention to detail and an understanding of the importance of discretion when handling confidential or sensitive matters.

You are a curious individual who takes an interest in the business in which they work.

A high level of initiative and the ability to anticipate and proactively support the needs of your stakeholders before and as they arise is a valuable skill that you will develop and utilise.

**_ Required_**
- Previous experience in an office administration role, ideally providing support to a team or multiple business leaders
- Innovative, organised, and efficient - able to bring new ideas and improvements to the table
- Strong communication, teamwork, and stakeholder management skills
- Able to easily learn new systems and technologies
- Experience in the use of Microsoft Office suite including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word

**_Desirable_**
- CRM experience, such as Salesforce, highly regarded
