**About Access & Demand Division**:
Access & Demand strategically contributes a critical and end to end view of the Austin Health patient journey. The Division drives operational efficiency and performance improvement through an evidence based approach and methodology to maintain a continuous and holistic view of the patient journey and provides expert advice to mould future oriented models of practice and operational redesign.

**About the role**:
The Divisional Manager, Bed Management and Acute Ambulatory Services has operational oversight and management covering a range of services including, Care Co-ordination team, Bed Resource Management, Non-Emergency Patient Transport service, Hospital-In-The-Home (HITH) and the Ambulatory Care Centre (ACC).

**About you**:
The Divisional Manager will be a highly driven and innovative individual with a keen eye for process improvement opportunities. A team player who can motivate and advocate for inspired changes to traditional ways of doing. Supremely organised and capable of managing a range of projects, people and timelines - this position is looking for someone who is up for a challenge and likes to be involved in the inner workings of a complex organisation.

Ideally, you’ll have:

- Demonstrated experience in the leadership and management of a health service function, preferably in a major public hospital
- Strong business and financial acumen with particular ability to build and adhere to budgets and seek funding opportunities
- Knowledge of innovative service delivery models and experience in implementing change
- Significant demonstrated knowledge/ experience in patient flow and bed substitution models
