Sustainability Manager

**The Project**

The Utilities business are the preferred contractor on two of the largest energy infrastructure projects within the Australian energy sector, one of these projects is located in Queensland and the other in New South Wales. These two exciting opportunities secure a pipeline of work until 2027 and include the design & construction of new transmission lines and substations.

**What will a day in this role look like**:

- Oversee the implementation of sustainability strategies during the lifecycle of the project
- Report on sustainability performance
- Help undertake investigations into alternatives and innovations to drive sustainability outcomes through collaboration with internal and external stakeholders in the supply chain
- Develop content and deliver training programs to inspire a proactive approach on achieving sustainability deliverables

**What are we looking for you to bring to the team**:

- Strong management of meeting sustainability targets
- A relevant degree in environmental science or engineering
- As an Infrastructure Sustainability Council of Australia (ISCA) appointed project, you will be able to demonstrate that you have built at least one IS rated major infrastructure project
- 3-5 Years of management experience in the provision of sustainability advise.
