SIXT Australia is seeking a **Permanent Full Time Risk and Compliance Business Partner.**

**Your Opportunity**:
The Risk and Compliance Business Partner is a key point of contact within SIXT for all risk and compliance related matters, and the interface into the NRMA Group Risk, Compliance and Assurance (GRCA) team. The role is responsible for working with business stakeholders to ensure that all divisional risks are identified, assessed and managed, and that ongoing monitoring and reporting is in place. The Business Partner will also have oversight to ensure that SIXT maintains appropriate registers of all its obligations and licences to operate, and is responsible for ensuring that all issues and incidents are escalated to the NRMA GRCA team. The role will also coordinate with key divisional and corporate stakeholders to ensure that the SIXT division implements agreed plans to maintain and gown its maturity in managing risk and compliance activities.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Development, maintenance and ongoing review of SIXT's risk and control registers including supporting business stakeholders on identification of risks and effectiveness of controls, and aligning with Compliance Framework and Vulnerable Workers declarations.
- Regular monitoring and reporting on key SIXT risks and controls, and collaborating with GRCA with regular updates.
- Development and continuous improvement of the compliance audit program.
- Undertake location based audits including review of Marketing spend, preparation of various KPIs to measure and monitor financial health and risk, review of data and annual reconciliation of franchise fees payable, accurate and timely reporting of revenue, and ensure checks are in place to review and validate financial information provided by franchisees.
- Conducting internal reviews and performing analysis on financial results.
- Anticipating emerging issues through data and risk assessment.
- Assist in the development of the franchise budget each year, and provide analysis into franchise performance as requested.
- Develop strong relationships with business stakeholders and GRCA to create an embedded culture of risk and compliance management within SIXT.
- Foster a culture of collaboration and information sharing to enable healthy discussion and robust risk assessment and management across SIXT.

**About You**:

- Tertiary level qualifications (e.g. bachelor degree) in a relevant discipline
- 3-5 years’ experience in a risk or compliance focused role with an understanding of risk assessment, mitigating controls and residual risk assessments
- Ability to develop strong relationships with operational and corporate teams
- Experience in working in a complex organisation with multiple stakeholders.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem solving skills
- Developed written and verbal communication skills
- High degree of organization and time management
- Ability to prioritise tasks
- Experience with Protech or similar risk management tools (desirable)
- Experience in working with multiple sources of data sets and delivering end-to-end reporting solutions (desirable)
