**About the role**

We are excited to welcome a Strategic Asset Management expert to lead the whole of life analysis, capital and renewals investment planning, operations and maintenance oversight for Melbourne & Olympic Park Trust’s facilities and property.

Melbourne & Olympic Parks precinct is host to six premier venues, including Rod Laver Arena, Margaret Court Arena, John Cain Arena, AAMI Park, Kia Arena, and CENTREPIECE. The precinct also includes the professional sporting and administrative facilities, as well as recreational spaces such as the National Tennis Centre, Outdoor and Indoor Tennis Courts, Olympic Park Oval, and more. Your team has the incredible privilege of overseeing and managing these extraordinary assets that make up the Melbourne & Olympic Parks precinct.

Reporting to the Director of Infrastructure, this important role wil l take own ership of our Asset Management System and associated information management software. Y our wealth of exper ience will drive asset performance and technical analysis, financial analysis, and reporting on asset condition and performance. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in regulatory compliance reporting against the Asset Management Accountability Framework.

Asset Management
- Join our team as a Strategic Asset Manager and ensure M&OP ’ s compliance with regulations, best practices, and legislation while aligning our Asset Management program with the strategic plan and direction.
- Take proactive measures in Asset Management, considering risk registers, operational plans, and business continuity, and contribute to the development of operational and capital works programs for efficient and cost-effective asset maintenance and utilization at M&OP.

Sustainability & Environmental Impact
- M&OP are committed to promoting, practising and embedding principles of environmental sustainability across all facets of our design, planning and operations. You will embody this philosophy and l ead the development and implementation of sustainability initiatives.
- You will play a pivotal role in reporting and tracking consumption and progress against our Sustainability Strategy, ensuring our documentation, including the Asset Register, is always up to date and communicated.

Project Ma nagement
- You will successfully manag e and deliver a diverse range of Asset Management projects within M&OP, work ing closely with a diverse range of people from across the business.
- Showcase your exceptional reporting and presentation skills by delivering accurate, timely, and engaging updates to the Executive team, making a lasting impact on the organization's strategic decision-making process.
