About the role
As Program Manager – Strategic Asset Integrity, you’ll oversee a portfolio of capital projects focused on improving asset management, data quality, and system integration. You’ll manage scopes, schedules, and resources, ensuring projects are delivered on time and successfully embedded into operations. This role combines strategic planning, project leadership, and stakeholder engagement to deliver outcomes that enhance the performance and reliability of V/Line’s network.
Key accountabilities include:
- Lead delivery of the Strategic Asset Integrity Program, ensuring alignment with organisational goals
- Define and manage scopes, schedules, and resources across multiple complex projects
- Provide clear leadership and coaching to project teams for successful outcomes
- Ensure governance compliance and accurate reporting to senior stakeholders
- Drive organisational change to embed program outcomes into business‑as‑usual operations
- Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships across all levels of the organisation
About you
We’re looking for a proactive leader who thrives in a dynamic environment and can deliver complex projects with precision. You’ll bring strong strategic asset management experience and the ability to guide teams through change.
Our ideal candidate will possess the following:
- Proven track record delivering complex projects on time and to specification.
- Significant expertise in strategic asset management with advanced data analysis skills.
- Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail and a disciplined approach.
- Agile and adaptable, thriving in fast‑paced, evolving environments.
- Skilled in stakeholder engagement with clear, persuasive communication.
- Experienced in agile team settings with strong problem‑solving capability.
- Confident leader with ability to stabilise and guide challenging teams.
- Comfortable with occasional travel across regional Victoria.
- Tertiary qualifications in Engineering it highly desirable.
