**About the role**

In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for supporting business and financial operations across the Division and educating and supporting stakeholders to develop financial capability and improve accountability in financial business decision-making. You will be adept at balancing a range of conflicting priorities in a high workload and dynamic environment to ensure efficient and effective service delivery to achieve business outcomes.

**Some of your key tasks will include**:

- Provide back office support functions to front line staff in areas of customer payment queries with regards to DRIVES / OneGov transactions.
- Respond to chargeback requests, prepare reporting and report deductions across the various merchants.
- Consolidate daily agency payment reporting and prepare payment file for remittance
- Assist with the month end account reconciliations by closing out items and identifying reconciling items
- Provide support and respond to enquiries to ensure the provision of accurate information and quality service delivery
- Contribute to the development and update policies and procedures and provide training to support branch and operational staff performance
- Contribute to process improvement strategies to address identified inefficiencies and ensure required processes are established to meet changing needs

**About you**

The successful applicant is a well-respected professional with proven experience in a similar setting. You can demonstrate systems and associated accounting experiencing, with specialisation in reconciliation, reporting, and their financial impact on business activities.

Adept at working in a high-volume environment, you also possess stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence and advise business leaders and stakeholders. Above all, you will be highly organised and thrive on process improvement both within the team and across the department.
