This role is the frontend customer & brokers liaison for commercial & consumer collection matters. The primary purpose of this role is to manage the collection of debtors, ensuring a proactive and timely collection of outstanding amounts. You’ll be responsible for day-to-day collections to reduce delinquency through effective communication, negotiation skills and decision-making. **Roles and responsibilities** Managing Delinquent accounts - Managing a large number of outbound or inbound calls efficiently and effectively. - Build and establish relationships with customers and brokers with rapport and trust - Speaking to early-stage customers for collection purposes and negotiate payment of outstanding debt. - Detailed and accurate file action notes for all customer interactions and adding Checklist where required. - Moving each account through a workflow to ensure high-quality and consistent actions are taken - Bringing priority matters to the attention of the Team Leader for action/advice as appropriate Ledger Management - Managing your portfolio effectively to achieve maximum results - Take ownership of the ledger and prioritize your daily task by time management - Work autonomously and handle work with accountability **How to succeed** A passion for customer interactions and ability to build and nurture professional relationships will ensure success in the role.
