**Finance Officer**

We are partnering with one of Australia’s prominent law firms, known for their efficiency in providing effective and trusted solutions. Our client based in the CBD, is seeking a Finance Officer to join their dynamic Finance team.

**Responsibilities of the role**:

- Oversee and manage trust accounts in compliance with legal regulations.
- Ensure accurate handling of client trust funds and disbursements.
- Understand legal bills, ensuring accuracy and adherence to client agreements.
- Prepare financial statements and reports specific to legal matters.
- Assist in developing and monitoring the annual budget, focusing on legal expenses.
- Ensure compliance with legal financial regulations and standards.
- Monitor and manage cash flow related to legal operations, including client payments and disbursements.

**About you**:

- Qualification in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- High level of integrity and confidentiality in handling sensitive financial and employee information
- Detail-focused within all elements of financial record-keeping and data entry to ensure accuracy.
- 1-2 years of experience as a Finance Officer or Bookkeeper.
- Understanding of financial management in a legal context is desirable
