**About the Role**
- Manage contract administration from awarding the contract, monitor, updated and finalise contract information at completion.
- Monitor and report on contract activities and ensure activities are following policies, procedures and manuals.
- Deliver training and guidance to officers throughout Council that have responsibility for undertaking procurement activities.
- Assist with Procurement related projects as required.
- Facilitating Council’s purchasing processes, review requisitions and providing advice and guidance to internal and external staff.
- Ensure that the purchasing activities of the Council are conducted in a controlled and coordinated manner and according to relevant policies and procedures and Best Value guidelines.

**Skills & Experience**
- Experience in Local Government practices is highly desirable.
- Analytical and attention to detail skills around identifying accumulative spend.
- Sound experience in purchasing practice and policy development.
- Licenses, certificates or qualifications e.g. Tertiary qualification in Community Services
