Our Client BARWON WATER is currently seeking multiple Inbound Customer Consultants for an ongoing casual assignment.

**Your new role**

You will WORK FROM HOME, between 8 - 38 hours each week (current average of 25-30 hours) providing a high level of customer service to Barwon Water customers through handling of incoming calls, conducting contact centre operations with a focus on achieving excellent and personalised service.

Responsibilities will include:

- Handle all incoming contacts through all customer channels into Barwon Water including general, billing, faults, plumbing, development and operational enquiries
- Handle complex issues inline with established procedures and processes

**What you'll need to succeed**

To succeed, you will need:

- Excellent IT proficiency, including MS Office, Word and Excel and telephony systems
- Experience in inbound/outbound call centre environment preferred
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Understanding and empathetic nature with the ability to actively listen
- Ability to problem solve and a first point resolution approach
- Multi task, organised and remain calm under pressure
- Ability to work both in a team and autonomously
