The opportunity

The Facilities & Security Co-Ordinator plays a primary role in providing support to the National Facilities Manager in assisting in the management and delivery of all Facilities and Security services across the National QBE Property Portfolio. As part of the Facilities team, you will be instrumental in consistently delivering on a service guarantee that exceeds client expectations, whilst ensuring the team is always meeting the requirements of compliance.

**Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for the ongoing management of QBE corporate Security Systems including but not limited to, Access Control, CCTV, Corporate Security Network Log, Visitor Management Systems, Licenses, within the QBE Property Portfolio.
- Manage all service requests (work orders, purchase orders) for repairs, maintenance for technical security hardware and systems.
- Assist managing the performance of outsourced security vendors contracts including but not limited to KPI’s, SLA’s, Governance, etc.
- Assist with the design, document and delivery of high-end technical security solutions.
- Prepare and assess technical quotations, business cases, recommendations, and proposals.
- Active participation in initiatives to improve QBE’s security landscape and culture.
- Assist managing the performance of outsourced facilities management contract including but not limited to KPI’s, SLA’s, Governance, etc.
- Assist managing the day-to-day facilities and building operations for all offices within the QBE Property Portfolio.

Your story so far

Additional Experience and Skills Required:

- 3-5 years Facilities/Security Management experience
- Detailed knowledge of vendor performance and management.
- Security risk management methodologies
- Detailed knowledge of CCTV, Access Control and Security Systems
- Understanding of Australian standards and legislative requirements
- Preferred competency or certification in Integrity, Concept, Tecom and Protégé systems
- Competency with IP Video, Network Switches and WAN infrastructure
