A great opportunity has opened at Goodstart within the Finance Department for an Accounts Payable Officer to join the team. The role entails the processing of invoices and making payments to suppliers for all Goodstart centres and support teams. Success of this role pivots on high attention to detail, data accuracy and the ability to work with volumes of data, alongside the delivery of outstanding customer service. So, a strong alignment to customer care is a must The role is based at our newly renovated Head Office in Murarrie, Brisbane (a hybrid work model may be implemented once fully trained in the role).

Your Impact

Administer and effectively process invoices in a timely and efficient manner as per company policies and procedures as well as legislative requirements.
Request approvals in line with Goodstart delegation of approval policy
Build payment batches for review and payment
Ensure that vendor queries and questions from centre staff and managers are investigated and reported on in a timely manner.
Receive and process vendor excel files
Complete reconciliations of vendor statements/accounts
Building rapport with customers to ensure service excellence to resolve queries, problems, or complaints.
Identifies and resolves problems and inconsistencies and suggests appropriate corrective procedures and adjust / resolve errors within the SAP system.
Maintain vendor details and carry out administrative tasks as requested.

**To be successful in the role you will have**:
Gained previous experience within an Accounts Services environment
Have a strong customer understanding and positive communication skills
Possess intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
Previous experience/knowledge of SAP an advantage
Ideally hold a Cert III or IV in Accounting or Bookkeeping
