**About the role**

The Finance Officer reports to the Finance Manager and is responsible for the coordination and implementation of finance processes and systems that support the day to day work at ACT Group and provide high quality administrative support to relevant stakeholders within the business.

**Responsibilities**
- Completion of weekly payroll cycle, including adherence with modern award conditions for various companies within the Group
- Monthly commissions for Sales Teams.
- Management of new starters, leave entitlements, superannuation, workers compensation and PAYGW as well as termination and redundancy calculations.
- Management and oversight of supplier master files including verification of ABN, GST tax codes
- Preparation of weekly payment run ensuring all invoices are paid in a timely and accurate manner
- Daily reconciling of bank feeds and credit card transactions
- Daily invoicing for Sales team
- Daily updating of stock system with despatch data
- Review monthly profit & loss statement
- Provide customer service and support on all Accounts Payable and Receivable enquiries.

**Requirements**:

- Proven work experience as a Finance/Accounts Officer or similar role.
- Minimum Cert IV/Diploma specializing in accounting or bookkeeping.
- Strong knowledge of financial principles, practices, and regulations.
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

**Salary**: $50,740.00 - $70,000.00 per year
